The best way to drive traffic to a business is to make people aware of it. Making a brand recognizable is something that all new businesses struggle with. However, it is a hurdle you must get over if you want to achieve success. 

Building brand awareness can be challenging but it can be done. Here are some strategies that you can use to quickly get the word out about your business.

Offer Freebies

This is a strategy that never gets old no matter how many times it’s used. Offering potential customers a freebie is a great way to get them on your email list. When they are on your list you can talk to them and let them get to know more about you.

As you share valuable insights with them and then sprinkle the selling of your products in between you will start to develop trust. This makes it easier for you to sell more and more products.

You may be wondering what kind of freebie you should offer. The answer to that lies in your demographics. Look at the age, interest, and spending habits of your target audience. 

Why do they come to your website? Why would they want to buy from you? Offering them something that is in alignment with all of those things free of charge is a great way to connect with them.

Tell Your Brand Story

Telling her brand story on social media and your website is a great way to connect with your audience. By telling your brand story you will make an emotional connection with your audience that is unmatched. 

Create a video telling them about why, and how you started the business. Answer any questions that you feel they may have. Being open and vulnerable with people will help them make an emotional connection with it.

Do Giveaways

Another great way to increase your brand awareness is to do giveaways on social media. Your giveaways will serve three purposes. 

They help you to connect with your current audience, expose you to a new audience and give people a chance to test your products or services.

That is a lot on the table, this is why it’s important for you to be strategic about your giveaways. Select products that you know are in demand. However, you can also select a new product or service to give away as well.

Select a deadline for giveaway entries to make people know that it is time sensitive.  Ask people to share and follow your business in order to be entered in the competition.

If you really want to fast track your brand awareness, a great way to do this is by using social media ads. When you use PPC you pay per click.  You can decide on your budget and then only pay when someone clicks your Ad. 

You can run awareness campaigns on some social media platforms and this will allow you to reach a brand new audience. 

These types of ads are done not with the intent of selling anything but just to make people who are interested in your products and service aware that you exist. They might like and follow your page and then you will be able to share more with them about your business.

Create Great Content

One of the best ways to increase your brand awareness is simply to create great content. When your content is shareable it naturally circulates among your target audience and you will find yourself getting new followers and admirers everyday on social media.

Finding ideas for good content does not have to be difficult. Take your cues from what your audience is talking about and get excited about. 

You can also look at what your competitors are doing. See which types of posts are working for them and going viral. Try to recreate that and put your own unique spin on it.

Get Seen

Once you put your brand in front of the right people your business will thrive. You will gain many new customers simply by taking the time to make people aware of your business.

Once you give them great content, offer them valuable information and do giveaways you will be able to attract new customers.

Remember to let your customers get to know your brand by telling them your brand story. This will get them to make an emotional connection with your business and keep them loyal to your products and services.
